The Final Question...

Why write?

Does anyone know?

We *all* know, those of us who are plagued with this infernal malady that causes us to injudiciously pour our souls onto paper, et al.

We write because we have a story,
and since some of us suck at oral storytelling, words from the back of our brain and the bottom of our hearts, like magic, can can only be conveyed through our fingertips.

We write because to not write would consume us.

We write in agreement with Anna Nalick "2am and I'm still awake writing this [opus]. If I get it all down on paper it's no longer inside of me, threatening the life it belongs to."

We write because we have read. Some of us say, 'I can do that.' But some of us say 'I MUST do that.'

We write because we can't NOT.
